What you need to know before buying a
Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini or other exotic auto. |

Before buying an exotic car make sure you
are not buying a re-built wreck. Severe, repaired crash damage can
easily make $10,000 to $20,000 difference in the cars value. Know the
cars history by doing a vehicle history report on the car by CarFax or
AutoCheck. Also, have the car inspected by a reputable paint and body
shop. They have an Elcometer that can measure the thickness of the
existing paint and determine if it is the original factory paint, or
if the car has been repainted.
Don't overpay for a repaired wreck. Also
keep in mind that repaired vehicles can quickly wear expensive tires
due to improper chassis alignment.
